Abstract

瞳孔は心理状態の変化によって収縮・拡散をすると言われている.本研究では聴覚刺激を用いた課題遂行中の心理状態と瞳孔変化を測定し,それらの対応を検討した.呈示間隔の異なる聴覚刺激による課題をそれぞれ60秒間行い,その際の瞳孔変化をビデオカメラで撮影・記録した.さらに,被験者は課題終了後に課題中の心理状態を応答した.その結果,呈示間隔が短い時に「活動度(心理的負荷)」に「焦り感」,「不安感」が増大し,瞳孔径の平均値が増大する傾向が見られた.

It is known that pupil diameter increases or decreases with variation of psychological state. We investigated the relationship between pupil diameter and psychological state during task execution using auditory stimuli. Pupil diameter was monitored and recorded by means of infrared video camera, while observers performed the task using auditory stimuli presented at time intervals of 1 s, 2 s and 3 s, for 60 seconds in each trial. After each trial, observers responded their subjective psychological state during the trial. The results show that subjective responses of "activity", "time pressure" and "anxiety" were increased, and the mean pupil diameter during 60 seconds period was also increased, when time interval of auditory stimuli were short.
