抄録

With the development of information and communication technology, the use of information devices has become popular even at fields of nursing education. E-learning in Japan has started at the corporate education and various contents for different or separate places have been developed and used actively in school education or lifelong education. E-learning is used in the field of nursing education but those examples are small in number. This paper introduces the definitions of e-learning and shows how the author has been working for it. The present situation of e-learning in basic nursing education and continuing nursing education is surveyed, and the role of e-learning for nursing education is summarized as well.
