社会福祉士及び介護福祉士法が制定されてから19年目を迎える。この法律において介護福祉という語が誕生したと言われている。しかし、介護福祉学は現在においても確立しているとは言い難い状況である。そこで、介護福祉学確立に向けて、介護福祉と関係が深い隣接学問諸領域との関係性を整理した上で、新しい学問領域である介護福祉学確立に向けての方向性として、専門分化を目指し、隣接諸学問を介護福祉の視点で応用して取り込み、整理した上で介護福祉学の体系化を目指すと共に、実践学として、介護実践を通した研究の積み重ねがあると示した。

It has been nineteen years since Law of the social worker and the certified careworker was enacted. This law established the discipline of social care work, but it isstill in a developing stage. Therefore, the social care works science isn't established yet.We aim to systematize and specialize it as a new discipline. We have tried to closelyrelate it with inter-disciplinary subjects, and then apply and adopt the results of ourstudy from the view point of social care work. And we have shown the necessity of thecumulative research through the discipline of practice.
