We have researched in different locations in Morioka and few Hispanic districts and cities of the U.S. (Puerto Rico, New York, and San Francisco) to survey women's activities. Although women's organizations in these two places have different historical background, we could find some useful references for women's activities. In Morioka, women's organizations have developed in large part based on government initiative. US Hispanic minority organizations have been formed by voluntary women's efforts based on administrative politics for social welfare. The historical condition and organizational character are different in two regions. However, the women's effort is the key point of forming women's activities.
