Abstract

Optical property measurement using IR and Raman spectroscopical mean gives powerful insight to solve structure of slag. The applications to know behavior of various components such as network-modifiers, fluorine ion, amphoteric aluminium ion and water vapor in slag were readjusted. Former uncorrect opinion, shift of absorption peak in IR spectra, was revised with Raman scattering study. Furthermore the application to determine SiO_4 tetrahedra containing non-bridging oxygens seems fruitful.
