Abstract

With Doppler-free polarization spectroscopy, saturation behavior of the fluorescence was studied on the H_α line in a low density hydrogen plasma. Clear evidence of the saturation broadening was certified for the first in this spectroscopy and the result was compared with the one by the laser-induced fluorescence method.
