Abstract

The Engineering Foundations Education Center (EFEC) was established in 2000. At the almost same time, the first Mathematics and Science Education Study Meeting (MSESM) was held as an engine for organized activities of EFEC. Up to now, the first and the second stages of study activities were carried out to seek the solutions for various problems on the engineering foundations education and several study results were applied to it. Then, the engineering foundations education has been improved. Herein, we present the above improvements which were performed by the faculty development (FD) driven by MSESM and also report further activities for remained issues as the 3rd stage of MSESM.
