Abstract

This paper describes the argument agent that argues with persons using an online mediation system. In this system, users connect their computer to a server and participate in online mediation. They input utterance and argue to a disputation interface. After the end of mediation, record of dispute is accumulated in a case base. In this paper, an argument agent joins online mediation in place of a user. The argument agent generates an utterance using Similar Disputation Scene Search from case base or template. By using the argument agent, students have opportunity to themselves.
