抄録

This paper deals with high precision and high efficient truing of resinoid bonded micro diamond wheel by using a new rare metal. Recently, glass lenses are increasingly used in opto-electric devices and the glass lenses are molded with micro ceramic molds and dies. Micro ceramic dies have to be ground by micro diamond wheels and accuracy of truing and dressing of the grinding wheel influences the form accuracy and the surface roughness. Conventionally, a diamond dresser and a green silicon carbide (GC) truer were used for truing of the diamond wheel and conventional truing method have not satisfactory performance and grinding performance. In this research a new rare metal truer is proposed and truing performance of the new truer was experimentally evaluated compared with the conventional ones.
