Abstract

わが国の大学における最近十数年間の情報基礎教育の様子をまとめた.この間,情報基礎教育が残した成果は,文系理系を問わずほとんどの学生がパソコンをある範囲内で扱えるようになったことである.しかしながらその教育にはいくつかの要素が不足していた.それらは情報収集と発信に関するルール(正しい日本語の使用を含め),情報倫理教育,アルゴリズム教育など-単なるスキル教育を越えるものである.今後の情報基礎教育では,これらに関し不足部分を補うとともに,更なる強化が必要であるとした.
