Abstract

The purpose of this paper is the explanation of the relationship between the local bank branches to this management. In this paper, DAIJUUKYUU Bank, SHIGA Bank and KAWANISHI Bank were picked up as representative of local bank in NGANO Prefecture. The changes of the capital, the deposit and the loan of these banks were compared mutually. Then, the formation of these banks branches was done alike. The result of explanation is the followings. 1. DAIJUUKYUU Bank depended on NIPPON Bank or other major banks for fund of loan. So the branches were located SUWA where is major industrial zone of law silk. 2. SHIGA Bank financed law silk maker or fertilizer merchant and depended on the deposit for loan. So SHIGA Bank enlarged branches. But SHIGA Bank that adopted modern management of a bank failed ultimately. 3. KAWANISHI Bank did not adopt modern management of a bank, but maintained business over 50 years.
