Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to show that utilization for GIS and scenario-thinking for the measure of urban earthquake disasters First, results and problems were extracted from present systems for the measure of earthquake disasters Then, merits of using GIS and scenario-thinking to solve these problems were shown Next, in case study, we studied utilization for GIS, which is able to deal with various damage in the city, and is useful in classifying information that we need, and helps to plan measures using scenario in various activities in earthquake disasters Finally, we would like to consider of using the ideal measure of GIS.
