抄録

Business Continuity Plan (BCP) of local governments has been widely recognized, but few developed. Therefore, in order to promote development of local government's BCP, authors conducted a questionnaire survey and a group-interview on attitude toward the development with local governments participating in Organization of Kansai Unity (OKU). The results of the survey reveals that only a few governments has made financial and organizational preparation and that many are expecting a variety of BCP's effect from the municipal viewpoint. Finally, authors propose development of system for exchange of know-how and cooperation among the governments, involvement of advisory people and organizations, and support for the leading authorities by the central government.
