Abstract

本研究では、関東と関西地方の特別支援学校を対象に、史資料・記録類の保存と活用に関する調査を行い、現状と課題を明らかにすることを目的とした。ほとんどの学校で史資料・記録類の保存が行われているにもかかわらず、予算が確保されている学校は10%に過ぎなかった。アーカイブの設置は約20%の学校でみられたが、アーカイブ設置校でも何らかの予算上の配慮があるとの回答は半数に満たなかった。また、アーカイブが設置されているにもかかわらず、校務分掌に担当が位置づけられていない学校が半数以上であり、目録が整備されていない学校が大半であった。史資料・記録類を保存し、後世に残していくためには、アーカイブの設置や分掌組織の確立、予算の確保などが必要であることはもちろんであるが、それ以前に、学校現場に史資料・記録類の保存の意義や必要性を広く理解してもらうことが不可欠であると考えられた。

This research aimed to clarify the current state and problem on preservation and use of the historical materials and records with investigation for the special support school in Kanto and Kansai district. Although historical materials and records were preserved at most schools, schools where the budget for preservation and use of them was secured were only 10%. The schools where the archives were set up were about 20%. Among those schools, the answers that there was consideration in the budget did not come up half. Moreover, the schools where the persons in charge were not located in the school affairs divide duties were more than half the number, and the schools where the catalogs of materials and records were not maintained were majority though the archives were set up. It was thought that it was indispensable that the meaning and the necessity of the preservation of the historical materials and records were widely understood in the beginning to preserve and to succeed to them.
