抄録

The Department of Sport Intelligence & Mass Media (hereinafter referred to as "the Dept SIM") was established at Sendai University in this academic year. The purpose of this report is to show the educational ideas, educational contents and the management strategy of this new department. The Dept SIM aims to foster talents who have high-level ability to deal with sport information. Purposes of the Dept SIM management are as following; first is to take information with dignity, second is to continue to mention the essence, third is to establish its laboratory and to cooperate with a variety of other institutions.
