Abstract

<p>This paper provides the evaluation methods on long-time recovery in the afflicted area using statistics database. First, we discuss the recovery index requirements which is able to grasp the recovery situation and its database needs for disaster response. Second, we propose the recovery index using time-series analysis(TSA) and the framework to interpret the recovery situation. Third, we apply the recovery index using TSA to the HanshinAwaji Eartquake Disaster, it is clear that several recovery patterns examine from three aspects, that is, trend, seasonal variation and noise including the original data, for ten years after the event.</p>
