抄録

We show that long-time heat treatment is necessary to adequately remove water molecules from the CLBO crystal volume. The reduction in amount of water molecules had improved the transmittance of the crystal at 266nm. In addition, the pre heat-treated crystal was able to generate about three-times higher UV power without bulk damage than non heat-treated one.
