Abstract

A latest CDQ has been installed at No. 4 coke oven in Fukuyama Works.<BR>CDQ in Fukuyama has been designed on the basis of the operational experience gained over the years at Keihin Works. It is an effective facility which has a production rate of 110 t per h and incorporates with developed equipments such as a multi-stage flue, a rotating coke bucket and a multi-function turbine. The commercial operation was started in February, 1986. Since then, this CDQ facility has been operating successfully and contributing to energy savings in Fukuyama Works.
