Abstract
電磁理論の諸問題及び計算電磁気学における数値解析法について概説している.電磁理論の諸問題の一つに,電磁気学がある.電磁教育で使われている代表的教科書を見ると,物質を含むマクスウェルの方程式の理論構成やポインティングベクトルにおいて,物理的な解釈をめぐり色々な主張がなされ,電磁教育に支障をきたしている.本論文では,これらの誤解の根底となっている表示(EB表示,EH表示,DH表示)の問題点とポインティングベクトルの問題点を具体的に指摘し,電磁理論を巡る混乱を収束し,今後の電磁教育に有用な情報を提供する(細野).また,筆者の個人的経験に基づいて,電磁波散乱問題のマクスウェル方程式数値解法(計算電磁気学)の代表的な三つの手法,積分方程式法,時間領域有限差分(FDTD)法,有限要素法(FEM)の進展について基礎研究という立場から概観する.更に,計算電磁気学の将来展望,筆者の個人的体験についても述べる(田中).
