Abstract
Cooperative reception scheme between several one segment ISDB-T receivers using Bluetooth network is useful because many mobile phones have a Bluetooth communication device. By exchanging sub-carrier information that helps to improve characteristic of the other receivers via Bluetooth network, the diversity reception is performed. However, the data rate of Bluetooth is not sufficiently fast to exchange information of all sub-carriers. Therefore, in this paper, an efficient scheme to exchange channel information and sub-carrier information for cooperative reception between receivers is proposed. In the proposed scheme, the path parameters of the channel are estimated and exchanged between receivers. By exchanging path parameters, it is possible to reduce quantity of exchanged information much more than the case where the channel transfer function of each sub-carrier is exchanged. Using the exchanged path parameters of the channel, the sub-carriers that are exchanged between receivers are optimally determined.
