土岐善磨と日比谷図書館 [in Japanese] Zenmaro Toki and Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Library [in Japanese]

Zenmaro Toki (1885-1980) was a famous Japanese tanka poet. (Tanka is a shortJapanese poem of 31 syllables.) And not only a poet, but he was also a journalist (YomiuriShinbun and Asahi Shinbun), a teacher, Doctor of Literature, a Nou dramatist, and a Nouplayer. He was also a director of Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Library, but his work about alibrary is not known by many people. In this paper we describe his work as a librarian andthe tanka he wrote about a library.
