抄録

In this paper, we propsoe the prediction method of the cold-water mass that obstructs scallop's growth. We developed and introduced the small seawater temperature observation buoy that is able to observe multiple points and multiple layers in real time. As a result of forecasting cold-water mass by using wind stress. we were able to forecast the cold-water mass by the hitting ratio of 66% off the Usuya coast. and were able to forecast 100% off the Esashi coast. Therefore this study confirmed that wind stress was effective as the predictive factor of the cold-water mass and the proposal method had generality.
