This paper proposes a new control method of a transient response by a variable damper when a single-degree-of-freedom vibration isolation system with a stationary displacement input receives an impact input. In our previous study, we confirmed that resonance arises not only at the natural frequency but also at other frequencies by the parametric excitation of damping and the base input. In this paper, we use the excitation froce that can be generated by the sinusoidal displacement input and the damping parametric excitation as the control force for the impulse response reduction. We show the effectiveness of the proposed control method by numerical simulation.
