Abstract

宇宙からやってくる高エネルギーの粒子である宇宙線の生成には,無衝突衝撃波が重要な役割を果たしていると考えられている.我々は高出力レーザーによって無衝突衝撃波を生成しその物理的機構を明らかにするとともに,衝撃波による粒子加速機構の解明を最終的な目的として研究を行っている.本章では,激光GXII号HIPERレーザーを用いて行った,高速対向プラズマ流の相互作用による無衝突静電衝撃波生成実験を紹介する.
