抄録

The aim of this study is to investigate stress distribution within the root using different post and core systems by the linear and non-linear finite element analyses (FEA). Between the results analyzed with the linear FEA and the non-linear FEA, there is a large difference of the stress distribution around the apex of root. The composite resin core with the glass fiber post prevents the stress concentration within the root dentin, especially, at the top and end of post hole, compared to the composite resin core with the prefabricated stainless steel.
