抄録

Several methods for determining material's elasto-plastic properties using plural angles indenters have been developed and proposed. Those indentation-testing methods are advantageous to obtain material constants from small area. Some of the methods including dimensionless functions exhibit good agreement with macroscopic material properties. In this research, improvements in accuracy of the method have investigated by operating finite-element simulations and indentation experiments. Some practical materials with different Young's modulus, yield strengths and work hardening exponents are selected and examined by the indentation method. Accuracy of the calculated materials constants is investigated by comparing with values obtained by macroscopic uniaxial tensile tests.
