Abstract

聖書は、キリスト教を信ずる人々にとっての信仰と生活の規範のよりどころである。すなわち、聖書はたんなる宗教上の教義としてだけではなく、キリスト教を信仰する人々の倫理観や道徳観と関連し、彼らの日常生活に影響を与えている。それは美粧に対しても例外ではなく、特に聖書が与える化粧への影響は大きい。歴史的にキリスト教社会では、謹直な生活態度が規範とされてきたといわれる。すなわち、化粧などで美しく身を飾ることを大きな罪としてとらえ、自然のままの姿でいることを善とする思想が主流をなしている。にもかかわらず、聖書には化粧の明確な否定や批判はほとんど見当たらない。しかし、化粧を勧める記述は神自身の行為、そしてイエスの言葉から確認できる。キリスト教社会の化粧への批判・否定は、聖書に根拠をおくものではなく、キリスト教聖職者の性生活と深く結びついているのである。

The Bible is a model of faith and life for people believing Christianity. The Bible affects their everyday life in conjunction with outlook on ethic and morality of people believing in Christianity only as a doctrine in religion. Influence to beauty, which the Bible gives, is big. It is said that the modns vivendi that is scrupulousness is considered to be a model historically in Christianity society. Christianity catches that people decorate beautifully is a big crime, and thought that to be with a natural figure good is the main stream. Most of the clear negation and criticism of makeup are not found in the Bible. We can confirm a description at the urging of makeup from an act of God oneself and words of Jesus. It is deep, that criticism to make up of Christianity society is tied to sex life of Christianity clergymen not a thing grounds in the Bible.
