抄録

A questionnaire survey had been conducted of 741 male and female university students for the following purpose. In order to solve the structure of university students' person-media contacts and the factors of individual difference in which specified university students' person-media contacts. Major finding obtained were as follows: 1) Six factors had been extraceted: "newspaper", "TV", "magazine", "beauty information", "family", and "opposite sex". 2) In male, it became clear that self-monitoring, private self-consciousness (-), male nature, female nature specified person-media contacts. By contrast, in female, it became clear that self-monitoring, social skill, public self-consciousness, private self-consciousness (-), male nature specified person- media contacts.person-media contactself-monitoringself-consciousnesssocial skillsex roll
