Abstract

超高速インターネット衛星「きずな」(WINDS: Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite)は,Ka帯のMBAやMPAによる高い送信・受信能力を持ち,小型の地球局で広帯域通信が可能であり,遅延時間が少ないという特徴を持つ衛星である.「きずな」は2008年2月23日に打上げられ,軌道上での初期機能確認試験を行った後,様々な実験を実施してきた.本稿では,宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency)が実施した基本実験結果の概略について紹介する.

Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite(WINDS)has such features as transmitting and receiving high performance by MBA and MPA of Ka-band, wideband satellite communication by the small user terminals, and short Round Trip Time. JAXA has conducted various experiments after launch on 23rd February, 2008 and the initial checkout was finished successfully. This paper describes results of the JAXA's basic experiments summary.
