天使大学看護栄養学部教養教育科目である「統計処理」において、授業で実施している内容を電子的に記録、蓄積、配信するためのシステムを構築した。特徴は、既存の技術を組合せたことである。記録にはハードウェアエンコーダ(TwinPact100) を用いた。蓄積にはQuickTime (DV) / H.264形式を利用した。配信には QuickTime Streaminig Server を使用した。本研究では、記録形式、圧縮方法、蓄積方法など技術面の検討と共に、学生の肖像権の保護についても検討した。

A system was constructed to electronically record, accumulate, and publish the implemented contents of a college lecture on "Statistical Processing," presented by the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Nursing and Nutrition, Tenshi College. The system is characterized by a combination of existing technologies. A hardware-encoder (Twinpact 100) is used for recording. QuickTime DV(H.264) is used as a video format, and QuickTime Streaming Server is used for publishing. In this study, technical aspects such as the format for recording, a method for compression and a method for accumulation were considered. A protection of rights to usage of students' likeness was also considered.
