抄録

There are many problems in the river confluence point because the flow velocity and direction are complicated. When we have heavy discharge, the river is likely flooded and a lot of sediment are carried and deposited in the river confluence point. It is important to understand these mechanisms. In this research, the flood flow in the real river was reproduced and bed deformation was calculated for nonuniform sediment. Then, observed direction of flow and water surface elevation was compared with calculated direction of flow and water surface elevation. Calculated results are similar to observed results. The good result was obtained in this research. This method can be applied to other river confluence point.
