抄録

Two dimensional wakes behind a circular cylinder are investigated numerically by use of the spectral method. Because the schemes adopted in the present paper can range to O(10^5) degree of freedom and can deal with an infinite flow field around the cylinder without using radiation boundary condition, more detailed transition scenario of cylinder wake may be obtained. The main concern of the present study is the arrangement of vortices and its stability.
