Abstract

殺虫剤抵抗性に関わるP450分子種を特定することは,そのような分子種を対象にして選択毒性の高いP450酵素の阻害剤やP450遺伝子の転写調節を攪乱させる核内受容体結合性化合物を開発することにも役立つ.また,このアイデアは,解毒代謝を担うP450分子種に限らず,エクジソンなど昆虫生理活性物質の生合成と代謝を担い昆虫種間で相同性が高いP450分子種に対しても同様に当てはまる.
