In "peer-to-peer" (or "P2P"), a peculiar routing in the application layer may unnecessarily traverse the network links because it doesn't consider the real network topology. This brings the waste of the network resource and the increase of the transit cost of the ISP. The purpose of this study is improving such routing in order to exploit backbone network resources efficiently in P2P. In the existing P4P architecture, P2P applications select a peer in consideration of its geographical information given by the ISP. However, in "inter-domain" routings, that is, when it selects a peer in other domains, geographical information is not sufficient or not appropriate for efficient network resources use. In this paper, we propose a new architecture for efficiency improvement of backbone network resource use in P2P. In the proposed architecture, we introduce the number of logical hops of ISP as information of ISP topology.
