抄録

Tomoo Matsuda is a Christian who learnt to Kanzo Uchimura as well as Hisao Otsuka and Masao Sekine. Matsuda devised the social practice method based on the Christianity belief and his own historical view. Based on his own belief, Matsuda went to the farm village in Nagano and preached Christianity to farmers. The thought and practice of Matsuda have the special meaning in planning social practice by the Christian and in reconsidering the meaning of modern ages in Japan. In addition, these are suggestive to think about the history of the spirit of the farm village in Nagano.
