- 2P2-C02 A Study on Small-Sized Flapping Robot : Wing Manufacturing and Motion Analysis
抄録
The purpose of this study is to develop a small-sized flying robot based on a swallowtail butterfly for an observation system in hazardous environments. Here, a hardware with flapping and abdomen swing mechanisms was manufactured based on motion analysis of a butterfly using 3-dimensional high speed camera system. Moreover, we focused on interplay between the wing and the flow field, and compared the elastic deformation of the manufactured wing with that of a butterfly's wing. The results showed that butterfly's wings have anisotropy against rigidity during up and down strokes and bended little during down stroke but largely during up stroke, though the manufactured wings bended similarly during both down stroke and up stroke.
