Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to estimate local markets area of silkworm egg manufacturing and explain this modernization in the Taisho Era. The silkworm egg manufacturing modernization is to mean reception of hybrid. The promoter and the agreement person of the Ueda silkworm egg company were examined an economical and social attribute. The results were following. The local markets area of silkworm egg manufacturing industry were constituted 6 ~ 8 counties. And this industry was modernized. The most of silkworm egg manufacturing managers were local banker, warehouse manager, brewing, and so on too. The fact added a unique character to local markets area of silkworm egg manufacturing.
