抄録

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of provisional restoration design on displacement of the implant fixture and strain of the implant surrounding bone by the three-dimensional finite element method (FEM). Rigidity of provisional restoration had a significant impact on the amplitude of implant displacements and the minimum principal strain of the implant surrounding bone, where rigid restoration was associated with smaller implant displacements and bone strain.
