Many previous researches have examined relations between children's TV viewing and many other aspects of their daily lives and developments. And they often discussed on negative impacts of TV viewing on their development. This research aimed to re-examine some of these relations by measuring TV viewing, regularity of daily life and developments of preschoolers and their mothers' attitudes toward childcare and television. Results of a questionnaire survey showed that the amount of TV viewing related with the regularity of daily life negatively. And detailed analysis of their causal relations suggested that high regularity of daily life shorten amount of TV viewing, but not vice versa. This suggested that TV viewing is not a factor that affect on children's everyday life and development, but an indicator that reflects features of children's everyday life.
