Abstract

本研究の目的は,自己調整学習(SRL)が求められる非同期分散型eラーニングにおいて活動する,学習支援者(eメンタ)の負担を軽減するシステムを開発し,評価することである.eメンタの負担軽減については,従来,開講中の活動に対する支援方法が検討されてきたが,本研究では自己調整傾向に着目して,開講前に学習者を分類し,学習者のタイプごとに異なる学習支援方法を計画することとした.さらに,この計画に基づいてeメンタが学習支援することにより,eメンタ1人あたりの総合的な負担軽減が可能なシステムを開発した.システムを使用した実験の結果,eメンタは開発された機能すべてにおいて負担の軽減を感じており,また負担を軽減しても,学習者にデメリットが現れることはなかった.

The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate an e-mentors' workload reduction system. Although most former systems aimed to support e-mentors focused on the activities during the course, it attempts to pay attention to the pre-course period. And the system was developed in line with the categorization of learners in asynchronous distributed e-learning courses. It features some pre-course supporting functions for e-mentors such as learner categorization based on his/her characteristics of Self-Regulation, the indication of mentoring guidelines, the automatic generation of mentors' action plans and the message sending to selected category/categories of learners. It was tested in two university classes with two e-mentors in each. Post-course interviews, questionnaire and activity log showed two major results; e-mentors experienced their workload reduction by all developed functions and the learners didn't have significant problems regardless of the usage of the system.
