Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the relation between the studentsʼ moodalteration and teaching-learning process in a gymnastic class. The subjects were 50students who study physical education as their major subject in the Department of Educationat Kumamoto University. The following results were obtained : 1) Studentsʼ refreshmentsubscale score increased significantly in all of the classes. The relaxation subscale score wasnot changed, and the anxiety subscale score decreased in a few classes. 2) Studentsʼ positiveaffect and the pleasure of gymnastic classes were correlated. 3) The role of teacherinteraction and to facilitate understanding of the learning content during the teaching-learningprocess had a positive affect on students.
