This study focuses on the images of modern mothers in comparison with magazines published from September 2011 to August 2012. The method is the content analysis. By counted pages and the ratio, it's explored the existence of language codes by Basil Bernstein. Analysis of the date reveals that there are three points with divided images of mothers. First point is the mother's desire if one regards as important or not. Second point is the getting job during having little child. Third point is the responsibility of child care if it lies with only a mother or not. By the combination of these three points, three types of mother's images appear. The type1 is the full-time housewife who makes a sacrifice of herself for her child. The type2 is the working-mother who can afford to buy her things and brings up her child in cooperation with her husband. The type3 is the young mother who treats herself equally with her child, and she works while making free use of social capital. However, ironically little better than type1, it leaves out father from responsibility of child care, and makes a result to strengthen the tie of mother and nursing.
