国際交流プロジェクトにおけるコミュニケーション・ツール利用の分析(<特集論文>国際理解・協力におけるメディアの活用)  [in Japanese] Analysis of Utilization of Communication Tools in an International Collaboration Project(<Special Issue>The Use of Multimedia to Promote International Understanding and Cooperation)  [in Japanese]

アートマイルは,壁画の協同制作を通して異文化理解やコミュニケーション力の伸長を図る国際交流プロジェクトである。コミュニケーション・ツールを使用し,多数の学校が参加する国際交流プロジェクトの支援方法を明らかにするため,本プロジェクトに参加した授業者に月毎に進捗状況を報告するワークシートと,実践後に振り返りの評価シートへの記入を依頼した。収集された15学級のワークシートと評価シートを分析した結果,協同制作の段階に応じたコミュニケーション・ツールの組み合わせ方の類型と学習成果との対応,学習成果に応じたツールの活用方法を整理することができた。

Among international collaboration projects in school education, students and teachers use various online and offline communication tools such as e-mail, bulletin board systems, web pages, video conferences, and face to face communication. In this paper, we focused on an international collaboration project: Art Mile, in which students create a large mural about various cultures of a local area and global issues with distant students. As a result of analyzing monthly progression worksheets and reflection reports filled-out by the teachers, four different combinations of communication tools were found. Furthermore, a relationship between using communication tools and learning outcomes was clarified.
