Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the curriculum of middle school for learning about proof as an explorative proving, and to verify the educational effect. This research is advanced in the Miyazaaki's reserch project(Miyazaki, Fujita, 2013).In this paper, I explained the framework of this research first. The learning about proof consists of two viewpoints of a planning and constructing of proof. The fundamental framework of this research is that students develop these two viewpoints, the planning and the constructing of proof, by turns. After explanation of the framework of research, I designed the specific lesson of an algebraic proof as anexplorative proving, and analyzed and reported the practiced result. As a result, I got some suggestion about the design of a lesson which can be used for future research.
