High intensity pulsed neutron source J-PARC was constructed and started operating in December, 2008. The most unique point of this facility is that we can select the neutron beam energy by time-of-flight method. It means that neutron energy depended projection image can be obtained by the pulsed neutron source for the neutron imaging and multiphase flow measurement. In order to investigate the feasibility on the multiphase flow measurement, neutron simulations for the energy selective neutron imaging were carried out as the first step for the planning of multiphase flow experiments. It was confirmed from the simulation results that the 3x3 rod-bundle void fraction measurement experiment can be carried out under high void fraction condition with epithermal neutrons of 1eV.
