抄録

The moment resistance model proposed by one of the authors for R/C beam-column joints considers four diagonal flexural critical sections in beam-column joints associating with joint shear deformation. The equilibrium equations relate applied forces such as column shear, beam shear, column and axial force, to the magnitude of stress resultants in steel and concrete at the critical sections. The ultimate strength and failure mode were calculated with the model to discuss the effects of the parameters such as concrete strength, shear reinforcement in joints, axial force in column, aspect ratio of the joint panel and so on. Calculated results are compared with previous test specimens. Calculated strength and failure mode by the models show good correlation with test results.
