抄録

In order to investigate the effect of strain rate on the behaviour of R/C wall panels restrained by peripheral frames, 32 wall panel specimens were tested. The specimens were subjected to the reversed cyclic shear force or monotonic increased shear force. The experiments concluded as follows. 1. The deviation of the shear strength of wall panels was same as one of compressive strength of concrete cylinders. 2. The shear strength of wall panels increased as the strain rate increased. The increased rate of shear strangth was same as one of compressive strength of concrete cylinders. 3. The shear strength of wall panels subjected to monotonic load was higher than ones subjected to the reversed cyclic load.
