Abstract

電力線を用いてネットワークに接続可能な技術である屋内広帯域電力線搬送通信(以下,PLC)の漏洩電界の問題が指摘されて久しいが,近年,現在は屋内に限定されている利用を屋外へ拡張しようとする動きがあり,改めてPLCの問題点を強調する必要が生じている.筆者らは,2012年に福井県越前市の一般木造家屋を用いた市販のPLCモデムの漏洩電界強度の計測実験を行った.その結果,PLC技術基準の規制値を大幅に超える漏洩電界が観測され,PLCが電波環境の保持の観点から極めて問題のある技術であることが改めて確認された.

Serious problems of leakage field by indoor PLC have been pointed out previously by many authors. Nevertheless, the use of PLC in outdoor is recently discussed by MIC. In order to emphasize the risk of PLC, we measured the intensity of leaked emissions by indoor PLC in a case of Japanese wooden house near the downtown in Echizen-city, Fukui prefecture of Japan. The results show strong leaked emissions whose power significantly exceeds a technical criterion established by Radio Regulatory Council are radiated by indoor PLC in a case of usual Japanese wooden house.
