- S051053 Wind Tunnel Experiment on Flow Field in Complex Terrain for Various Turbulence Intensity
抄録
To use wind energy resources, wind turbines must be installed in high wind speed site. Flow over complex terrain has high turbulence intensity, and the predictions of wind distribution by numerical simulation are still in the process of developing, and requires for advanced studies. In order to improve the numerical analysis for high turbulent flow, it is necessary to accumulate experimental data obtained in wind tunnel for various turbulence intensity. This study evaluates the effect of turbulence intensity on flow over simple two-dimensional hill models for establishment high-accuracy prediction method for wind turbine generation in complex terrain site. In this wind tunnel experiment, it is clarified that the difference of turbulence intensity and topography shape makes effects on separation point and spreading rate wake of the hill by using PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) system.
