Abstract
This paper reports on an exploratory practice of the graduation research guidance by a teacher of English at a national college og technology(Kosen).Since the evaluation by third parties such as JABEE,English education has been very improved rapidly at each Kosen and most of the activities through such improvements in English lessons have got great results.However,now the next mission,which is "Kosen sophistication,"will be started soon and it could be making English education the object of another attack again.Here the author would like to introduce one motivating practice of students' English learning through the graduation research guidance by a teacher of English.This is conducted as a trial and collaborative activity other than daily English lessons for the purpose of training students' overall communication competence.
